I’m really enjoying the show.  It’s something totally different.  (Not another Police drama.)  The cast is really great.  Exspecially You, Jason.

Were you guys in Oz during the flooding last year?   I had the misfortune of being there during that period.  I’d gone back to see my family (I’m from South Australia but live in London now) and we thought “ooh lets go to Queenland for some SUNSHINE!”  Ergh.  In the Whitsunday Islands the rain was so extreme it washed away the topsoil into the sea.  There was brown ring around Hamilton Island from all the silt.

Guess what? My family were excited!

They hardly ever see the rain, there’s been a drought for 20 years in SA, so they all went mad over rainbows and soggy koalas.

    My God.

Although I must say, we did a boat trip around the southern islands and all these spontaneous waterfalls had sprung up.  It was utterly magical. And a family of galahs took up residence on our balcony to escape the downpour which was VERY cool.  So I guess, no pun intended, every cloud has a silver lining.

Yes, our set was nearly lost in the flooding when we shot our pilot and the bad weather caused several production delays. It was probably the worst time to shoot there, but we had fun. You are right though, many beautiful things about Queensland. Lots to see and do!!

Well… Hello to you Mister O’Mara!  Just found out about your website.  I must say…  I am amazed on how much work you’ve put in to it.  It’s very entertaining and it shows how much you truly like doing this.  Congrats to you!  Love those behind the scenes takes and impromptu interviews.  If going behind the camera is something you would like to do in your future… Go for it!  And good luck!

Hi Jason, love the video! But I have to wonder about the Aussie weather bit, I have just spent the last couple of weeks in Ireland, the days there were pretty evenly matched with the weather here at home lol got to love 4 seasons a day lol
