Hurricane Sandy – Please Donate If You Can

November 7th, 2012 | Blog

Hey Jason Nation,

Yes, the elections were exciting! But rather than post about the elections, I’m going to post about trying to get food to people on the Jersey Shore. People who didn’t have much to begin with and now have less than nothing.

There is a potentially devastating Nor’Easter storm moving in on the East Coast that will bring with it, high winds, low temperatures and possibly snow and hail. This is a very daunting and dangerous proposition to those people who are still without power, but what about the people who are still without houses?

We need to help them by providing one of the basic human needs: Food.

This charity below is legit. If you haven’t donated to a Sandy related charity yet, I urge you to help out this one.

Thank you.

Thank you for posting this. There are so many different orgs out there and it’s hard to tell if they are legit and if the funds/resources are going directly to help. I know that being near Washington, DC and in the line of the hurricane earlier, i have been watching everything and honestly saddened to tears about people dying and people STILL being rescued by boat. I don’t know if people who aren’t on the east coast get the coverage like we do. I just don’t know people I am an East Coaster. To see the footage of the tents for them to vote in and then when they leave they get blanket and food…
